People ask me 'what type of Yoga do I teach?' To me yoga is yoga & my understanding of is that the word 'yoga' means unity or oneness - it comes from a Sanskrit phrase 'to yoke'.
Yoga unites our consciousness with Universal Consciousness
and connects us to our Real Self - our Essence - the Divine Spark.

On a more practical level, the way I teach is primarily to bring about a state of healthy balance in the body,
emotions and mind through the practice of Patanjali's Yoga. Known as Astanga (asta-8; anga-limb) Yoga.
| The eight limbs or aspects of Patanjali's Yoga are: 1. Yamas (Universal principles) 2. Niyamas (Observances) 3. Asanas (Postures) 4. Pranayama (Breath Awareness) 5. Pratyahara (Sense withdrawal) 6. Dharana (Concentration) 7. Dhyana (Meditation) 8. Samadhi (Bliss/Self-Realization) |

The Latin tag: "Mens sana in corpore sano" simply means
